Overview: Yogasanas in Your Lifestyle
Yogasana is originally derived from the Sanskrit words Yog and ASANA. Asana refers to a seated posture in Yog primarily used for meditation, such as the basic cross-legged position known as sukhasana. However, over time, the term has evolved to encompass a broader range of Yog poses. Nowadays, Yogsanas are not limited to just seated postures but encompass a diverse array of poses, including reclining, standing, and even inverted postures.
